Ramadan Charity Sponsored Fast
& Dinner Event
JIMAS
organized this sponsored fast
to coincide with a day during the month of Ramadan 2009
in order to support the local Youth Charity 4YP.
The
event included a wedding ceremony!
Six
prizes were given to various community members who had
taken part in some special way. Amongst them were Councillor
Jane Chambers who had raised the most through sponsorship
(almost £400), Gita Bannerji who has raised the
second most amount, and a very special Ellie Tadesse
for being the noblest and bravest by taking part in
the fast; she is only 4 years old!
