The JIMAS Youth Programme is a two day learning event for children held every year during the bank holiday JIMAS conference in Leicester.

The programme aims to take children through a series of learning acitivities to enhance their iman and examine issues related to the conference theme in a child-friendly way.

It is a unique and intensive experience in which commited and talented volunteers each lead a group of children between the ages of 8 and 13yrs, facilitating their learning, helping them have fun and safeguarding their welfare.

We are in the process of recruiting volunteers: places are limited so apply early to win the opportunity to earn valuable experience working with and teaching children as well as the du'as of those children and their parents and the awesome reward of Allah in this life and the next by the grace of Allah.

At the Youth Programme you will have the opportunity to bless, inspire and plant seeds of iman in the hearts and minds of your children by His Mercy and Permission.

Imagine the Pleasure of Allah and His reward for your efforts.

We are repeatedly told in the noble Qur'an to strive in His path, which He loves, and that He rewards good deeds. His promise of reward and success will be fulfilled:

O ye who believe!
Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you
from a grievous Penalty?
- That you believe in Allah and His Messenger,
and that you strive (your utmost) in the Cause of Allah,
with your property and your persons:
That will be best for you, if you but knew! (61:10)

Imagine the hasanat you will earn through your work, where you put aside your own comfort and desires, to nurture and guide a group of children who will be a proof for you insha`Allah on the Day of Judgement.

Perhaps they will come forward, when you stand before Ar-Rahman, trembling, desperately counting your deeds, good and bad, being placed on each side of the scale. Perhaps the children you have taught will speak up for you, or perhaps the rewards due to you from your good towards them will simply be placed into your scale of good deeds and tip the balance in your favour. Perhaps your frightened and shaking state will be transformed into ecstasy and you will be led by angels through the gates of Jannah, as they say "Enter here with peace"...

And those who feared their Lord will be led to the Garden in crowds:
until behold, they arrive there; its gates will be opened;
and its keepers will say: Peace be upon you! well have ye done!
enter ye here, to dwell therein. (Al-Qur'an, 39:73)

So patiently persevere: for verily the promise of Allah is true:
nor let those shake thy firmness, who have (themselves) no certainty of faith. (Al-Qur'an, 30:60)

If you are one of those unique individuals who gladly put aside their own convenience but instead  strive to do good for Allah's pleasure and you love inspiring children and have relevant experience of working with children, do not delay:

Please apply with your CV, an up-to-date CRB check, and contact details of two character referees, and include a short covering letter. Each referee's full name, position, work and how the volunteer is known to him/her needs to be provided. Don't forget to include your own full address, email address, land line & mobile numbers. Send to the following address:

Hurry - don't miss this chance!

Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord,
and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth,
prepared for the righteous,
- Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity,
or in adversity...
For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord
and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath,
- an eternal dwelling:
How excellent a recompense for those who work (and strive)!" (Al-Qur'an, 3:133-136)
