Suffolk Origo is designed as an Internet Cafe with a difference. It provides a welcoming and satisfying experience for everyone who visits it. With comfortable and spacious facility for surfing the Web, there is an excellent choice of quality coffee and wholesome snacks at highly competitive prices. There is also a good selection of books available to read or buy. Intended as a place for the public to build bridges with various faith communities, it aims to build warmth, understanding and cohesion among all people in the community. Suffolk Origo is also the place to drop-in for the contacts made at events and courses mentioned in the next paragraph.

Visit some of our highlights on this web site through the links on the lower right hand column of the home page. Examples are an exploration of faith seminar at the University of Essex, Eid festival at the Suffolk County Council (Endeavour House), exhibitions at both the Endeavour House and the Ipswich Museum, dialogue and discussion with a range of churches, presentation of courses for the Workers Education Association, sponsorship of events for Holywells and Copleston schools, and classes for primary, middle and high schools.

We also grant donations to diverse UK charities from our modest incomes through book and CD sales and your contributions. Amongst those who received funds from us in the past are Somersham Ward (Hospital), Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, Suffolk Refugee Welfare Forum, Cancer Research, Leukaemia Research, Ipswich Disabled Advice Bureau, Saltmine Trust, Essex Voluntary Association for the Blind and the NSPCC.
