They
will travel out to Romania for two weeks in August to
carry out a work project to put in new bathrooms and
cure the severe damp problem in the main home, and renovate
a flat nearby that they intend to use for the older
and more capable children to help them towards independent
living.
These
children were rescued from the local mental institution
by Rake and are now blossoming under the care of an
English special needs teacher called Helen. Some have
recovered enough to attend the local school, others
will need a life time of care. Rake will always primarily
need their money to care for the children. TEECH will
help by making their home more comfortable and warm.
